HOW does your team currently learn how to use domo?

Does your team need to become very proficient at Domo in a very short time? While many people learn Domo on their own or from someone on the team, they tend to lack basic good practices that only come from formal training. With a bootcamp, I can train your team fast on how to become proficient with Domo.

MEET YOUR DOMO TEACHER

Hi,

My name is John Le and I run Dashboard Dudes. I've been using Domo since 2016 where I have failed a lot, but also learned a lot. Furthermore, in 2024, I won Domo Educator of the year for my work with the Domo Case Competition as well as for work in the Domo Community.

Lastly, I have been a Domopalooza speaker for 2023 and 2024 where by breakout sessions were the highest attended ones (410 people in 2024).

For me, my goal is to make more people comfortable with data so they can make better decisions. There are a lot of people who are good at data, but very boring. There are a lot of people who are good at explaining things, but not that strong at data. I happen to be right in the middle where I am good at it and very engaging.

If we work together, I promise your team will not only strengthen their Domo skills, but also will have lots of fun.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long is the training?
Normally, I do 2 intensive days from 9am to 5pm, but from 3-5pm those are office hours. This gives your team the ability to show me what they are working on and ask for help right away.

Q: How many people can I have attend?
My boot camps are very very engaging and very hands on which is why I like to limit it to 10 or fewer participants. Throughout the teaching, I will be walking around and checking people's screens to make sure we are all on track.

Q: May I have people join from a remote location or does it have to be in person?
Truthfully, I would like this to be in person. I have done it before where some people are remote and that is okay as long as they are constantly screen sharing so that I may check their work. Also, in person is a better environment for this.

Q: How technical do my employees have to be?
I've worked with all ranges of Domo technical ability. Day 1 is designed to level the playing field for all skill levels. Day 2 builds upon the foundation of day 1 and we cover more advanced topics where even seasoned Domo users will learn something new.

Q: Can I adjust the agenda for what I want to see?
Absolutely. the agenda I outlined is what I normally do, but I always plan and adjust based on whatever you would like to see. For instance, if you wanted your team to be more focused on ETL builds, we can spend more time on that.

Q: Can we use our own real data instead of sample data?
Absolutely. Day 1 is structured using sample data to ensure we are following Domo best practices. However, on day 2 we will use your live data to put real context behind the solutions.

Q: What is the price for a 2 day boot camp? Do I have to cover travel?
My going rate is $6,000 for 2 days. All travel, hotel and meals comes out of that budget and is on me.
