I binged all Domopalooza 2026 Presentations: Here are my top 5 (excluding mine)

THE BEST PRESENTATIONS HAVE A COMBO OF ATTRIBUTES

I tell my clients that the most valuable pieces of Domopalooza are honestly the break out sessions. While the main stage presentations and product announcements are great, break out sessions allow you to hear real world examples that might be more applicable to your situation.

Now, as there are A LOT of break out sessions, these are the main questions I asked to select the top five:

Engagement - How well did the speakers captivate the audience?

Application - Were there clear action items that the audience could use right away?

Inspiration - Did the speaker excite the audience to take action?

Spring Cleaning Your Domo: Our Consumption Migration Story

"Can everyone say 'Hi Shannon!' so I don't feel nervous?" That opening line sets the tone for Shannon's entire presentation.

I had one client go to Shannon's session and afterwards she told me it was the best one she saw the entire day. In her presentation, Shannon talks all about SPRING cleaning your Domo Governance while using SPRING as an acronym and guideline for Domo governance. Additionally, Shannon's animations really made the audience laugh and Shannon even dressed like them on stage. Great presentation on Domo Governance if you are looking to clean up your Domo.

Brick by Brick: Building Governance Habits with Domo at Buildcorp

While we are on the topic of Domo Governance, Zac Keating's presentation also serves as a great guide. He gives great tips on monitoring credits, but also calls out the importance of tagging datasets. If you know me, you know I emphasize the importance of naming conventions and tagging and it's great to see easy action items to clean up your Domo instance.

Design to Impact: How Collaborative Data Solutions Transform Outcomes in a Level 1 Trauma Center

"Oh my gosh it worked!" - Montana Porter from Regional One Analytics.

I was able to watch this presentation live and the crowd was super engaged. Despite the target audience being those in the medical field, the content of the break out session were for everyone who uses Domo. Allison Vance, Jani Radhakrishnan and Angel Parker-Hefner not only show simple wins they use to make the hospital environment better for patients, but also how easy it was to make Domo AI Agents to improve said patient experience. This break out was super engaging because of the music, pop culture character references and the videos capturing live shock and inspiration from the team.

The Death of Vanity Dashboards: Insights Leaders Will Actually Use

A couple years ago, Colemen Wilson and I went to dinner at a Ramen Soup restaurant. At dinner, we were talking about our upcoming Domopalooza presentations and I asked him he was planning to make his presentation pop. Last year, he dressed up as a Harry Potter Wizard and this year, him and John Smithfield not only engaged in some acting, but also went into the audience to tell their story. Highly engaging and I am so proud their inspiration.

Technically, You Can Build Too: Guidance for Non-Data Experts in Domo

"But really, I think you guys are interested in our DAM data" - Ashley Pennewell.

This breakout session was highly unique in that it was brutally honest and spoke to people who do not consider themselves as data people. In this session, Ashley Pennewell and Tommy Oyarzun talk about not knowing the full path of what you are doing in terms of DOMO building and ETLs, but starting anyway. As long as you can get a little bit of traction, then you can reach out to your teammates to help you pass the finish line. Ashley shows how she was able to use AI to get started and then Tommy and his team were able to come in and complete the request. Very inspiring especially in a world that can feel so overwhelming.

Final words

This is just my list after binging all of the Domopalooza 2026 presentations. I would love to hear your list and why you enjoyed those presentations.
