The backstory
I met Hayden Woolstenhulme of American Construction Supply back at Domopalooza 2025. He attended my breakout session and later came to my booth to tell me how much he enjoyed my presentation. Flash forward to one year later, and we have built so much for American Construction Supply and I am absolutely so proud of how much of a Domo Pro he has become for the team.

when did you first use domo?
Have you ever felt overwhelmed at a new job? Well Hayden was told he was going to be the Major Domo or Domo Pro for American Construction Supply just one month into employment and one month after graduating college. To top it off, the CEO, Jared Wheeler, gave Hayden a lengthy milestone list that Hayden had to complete by the end of the year...
So there was Hayden, fresh out of college, with no Domo experience, asked to be the lead Domo user at a multi-million dollar concrete and construction company...by the end of the year.
what was your first domopalooza like?
In order to help Hayden become a Domo Pro, American Construction Supply sent him solo to Domopalooza 2025. If you have never been to Domopalooza, it is the Superbowl of Domo conferences. It is a big event where Domo not only show cases new features and customer spotlights, but also where Domo Pros (like myself) do breakout sessions to teach some Domo lesson. "I knew we needed a Domo Pro and it turns out it was you" - Hayden.
After my breakout session, Hayden took me up on my offer for a 30 minute discussion and that was the spark we needed. Hayden told me of what American Construction Supply needed to do and the lengthy goal list from the CEO. So, I said what I tell every new client "Let's just do a test. Hire me for X hours and dollars and we can see how far I get and go from there."
Hayden said the team was excited and ready to move. I remember, the team had an initial call with me and I told them what I would do and my proposed plan of attack. From there, we were locked in and ready to build.
how is it working with dashboard dudes?
"Our chemistry is great...you're great at explaining what you're doing while doing it" - Hayden.
We were off to the races. Every week, Hayden and I had multiple sessions where we would knock new requests out. I like to work in weekly sprints and my first goal was to get something for Jared and Tyson French to review while Hayden and I went onto project 2.
After we got the initial project out, the CEO wanted more, and more, and more. That was a great sign. So we kept building, testing and validating. Within one year, we had gone from 0 Domo App Studios to 18! Additionally, we were able to finally move some data into Domo that was previously thought impossible all thanks to Grant Smith from Gordon Data Group. He was like our supplier of new ingredients which allowed us to cook many more dishes.
what is your domo hope for next year?
After so much Domo building, the next phase was to get other employees excited about Domo. Not only did we do this by building more and more Domo Apps, but also I hosted a 2-day in person bootcamp to show employees how to use Domo.

I am extremely proud of how far Hayden has come. Within such a short period of time, Hayden has gone from knowing zero about Domo to being the Domo Pro at American Construction Supply. It has been a great partnership and I love seeing how American Construction Supply has been able to find context within concrete.
